The admission process begins on 1st June 2024, with the submission of online applications. Prospective students have until 21st June 2024, to apply for courses having durations ranging from six months to two years. These courses are run under both NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) and SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training) schemes, and the academic session is slated to start on 2nd September 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with a minimum age of 14 years as of 1st June 2024 are eligible to apply, with no upper age restriction, apart from the Driver Cum Mechanic (LMV) trade, which requires candidates to be 18 years old.

Applications must be filled out online via the official admission portal (https://itiadmissions.jkdsd.in). The following documents need to be uploaded to the portal:
- Marks Certificate of the qualifying examination.
- Date of Birth Certificate.

Once completed and finalized, a printed copy of the application and self-attested photocopies of the necessary documents must be submitted to the respective ITIs with a fee of Rs.100/- per three trades.

Admissions will be granted based on the academic merit of candidates in their qualifying exams. Successful trainees of the programs will receive certificates from the National/State Council for Vocational Training.
Candidates who have completed training in any trade previously may apply for another trade after a two-year gap, subject to certain conditions.
