Update on J&K Common Entrance Test (CET) for B.Sc. Courses 2024

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has released an important notification for all candidates who are appearing for the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Paramedical, and B.Sc. Tech. courses for the year 2024. The candidates set to attend the examination at various Government and Private institutions within the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir should pay close attention to the following details.

Admit Cards Availability

For those registered for the CET, the Online Admit Cards will be accessible starting from 20th May 2024, 11:30 AM onwards. Candidates are required to download their admit cards from the official website of BOPEE (www.jkbopee.gov.in).

Examination Schedule

  • Date of Entrance Examination: 26th May 2024, Sunday
  • Timing of Examination: 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM

Instructions for Downloading Admit Card

Referencing Notification No. 015-BOPEE of 2024 dated 29-03-2024 and Notification No. 024-BOPEE of 2024 dated 16-05-2024, candidates must ensure that their admit card is properly downloaded and must affix a recent passport size photograph on it if it is not already present. Additionally, it is mandatory to carry a valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport, a Photo ID issued by a College, or an Employer ID to the examination center for identification purposes.

Tentative Timetable for Examination Day

  • 09:45 AM: Reporting time at the Examination Centre(s)
  • 10:25 AM: Reporting time in the Examination Hall
  • 10:30 AM: Verification of candidate identity begins
  • 10:45 AM: Distribution of OMR Answer Sheets
  • 10:55 AM: Question Booklets given out
  • 11:00 AM: Examination commences
  • 02:00 PM: Examination concludes

Candidates must follow the timetable provided and comply with the invigilator’s instructions. After the OMR Sheets are distributed, no candidate will be permitted to leave the Examination Hall.

Important Note for Candidates

Please make sure to be on time, as the invigilators will confirm the identity of each candidate before the start of the test. Keep in mind that after the OMR Sheets have been distributed, candidates are not allowed to exit the Examination Hall under any circumstances until the exam concludes and they are instructed to leave.
