Vacancy Announcement: Guest Instructor at Indian Institute of Skiing & Mountaineering

The Indian Institute of Skiing & Mountaineering under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has issued a recruitment notice for the role of Guest Instructor to lead and conduct Short Trek Courses in Gulmarg. Eligibility Criteria:

• Experience: Minimum five years of experience in trekking, mountaineering, or related adventure sports, with a strong command of safety protocols.
• Qualification:
• Advanced mountaineering course with ‘A’ grade from a government-recognized institute in India.
• Candidates with a Method of Instruction (MOI) certification in mountaineering with an ‘A’ grade will be preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are mandatory.
• Age Limit: 21-45 years, with possible exemptions for retired or highly experienced government instructors.
• Other Requirements: Proficiency in handling wireless devices.
