The Office of the Deputy Commissioner/District Development Commissioner in Udhampur has announced a significant update concerning the engagement of Krishi Udyamis (Agricultural Entrepreneurs). - Notification Number: The advertisement is listed as Notification No. 03 DDCU of 2024, originally dated 24-06-2024.
- Position: Krishi Udyami (KU) – Agricultural Entrepreneur.
- Number of Positions: There are 2000 positions available across pre-identified panchayat level Kisan Khidmat Ghar’s of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
- Engagement Duration: Selected KUs will be engaged on a contractual basis initially for a period of 2 years, with the possibility of annual extensions based on performance.
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold either a diploma in Agriculture & Allied Fields or a Bachelor’s degree in Science (BSc) or Agriculture and Allied Fields (BSc/BVSc). Preferences will be given to postgraduates in Science/Agri & Allied fields and those with computer diplomas/certifications.
- Job Profile: KUs will operate Kissan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme.
- Remuneration: Engagement is on a self-earning/entrepreneurial basis.
- New Application Deadline: The new deadline for receipt of complete applications is 29th of June 2024, by or before 4:00 PM.
- Age Requirement: Candidates should be aged between 21 and 45 years as of the last date of submission.

- Applications must be complete and accompanied by self-attested photocopies of required documents such as academic marks certificates, domicile certificate, date of birth certificate, and character certificate issued by a competent authority.
