Filling up of the Vacancies of Class IVth Posts (District Cadre)

Details:

Offline applications are invited on the prescribed format (Annexure “A”) from eligible candidates of District Jammu for filling Class IVth Posts in the Courts of District Jammu.

Post Details:

1. Orderly, Chowkidar & Sweeper

• Pay Scale: SL-1 (14800-47100)
• Vacancies: 21 Post

2. Driver-II

• Pay Scale: L2 (19900-63200)
• Vacancies: 3 Post

Note: The vacancy position may change upon the actual availability of vacancies at the time of final selection.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:

• For Orderly, Chowkidar, and Sweeper: 10th (Matric) examination from any recognised Board.
• For Driver-II: In addition to the 10th pass (Matric), the candidate must possess a valid driving licence (LMV/HMV) and a Medical Certificate certifying fitness to drive the vehicle.

2. Domicile:

• Candidates must be permanent residents/domicile of District Jammu and must have a domicile certificate as per Notification S.O No.166 dated 18.05.2020.

3. Age:

• Maximum age limit: 40 Years (OM Category)
• Category-wise maximum age limits:
  • OM: 40 Years
  • RBA/SC/ST/OBC: 43 Years

• Domicile Certificate
• Qualification / Marks Certificate
• Category certificate (if any)
• Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation)
• Driving Licence and Medical Certificate (for the post of Driver-II)

• Duly filled applications should be submitted in the office of Principal District & Sessions Judge, Jammu (Administrative Section) during office hours.
